The CITE will be responsible for defining and executing strategies for testing, verification, validation, qualification, and acceptance, ensuring all system requirements are met with precision and adherence to industry standards. The role involves close collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, representing the space integration and test engineering function during key design reviews, and troubleshooting technical issues that arise during testing activities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Candidates holding a Graduate Degree should have at least 10 years of experience, while those without a degree must bring a minimum of 16 years of engineering experience. Extensive experience with system-level space requirements verification, including allocation, testability analysis, flow down, testing, and demonstration, is essential. Proven expertise in executing all phases of space vehicle programs such as SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR, and PSR is required. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in space hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and working with Flat Sats and simulators. A Secret Security Clearance is mandatory for this role, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work involved.
