About The Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll for all employees.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise payroll staff and leadership, fostering a culture of high performance, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure accurate maintenance of personnel data, pay rates, benefits, and employee information.
- Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements; stay informed about legislative changes and advise leadership accordingly.
- Prepare and present payroll reports to senior leadership, finance teams, auditors, and regulatory agencies, maintaining transparency and accuracy.
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers, including vendor selection, evaluation, and ongoing management; identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements in collaboration with HR and IT teams.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding employee trust.
- Competitive salary range from $125,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for annual bonuses.
