Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items efficiently
• Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and dish execution
• Serve meals promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required
• Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly valued
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, and meal preparation techniques is advantageous
• Experience in the food industry or culinary environment demonstrates a strong foundation for success

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
