Position Overview
Ferrari Express Inc. seeks dedicated and experienced Armed Guards and Drivers to oversee the safe and secure transport of high-value assets. This role requires a strong commitment to following security protocols and procedures, particularly regarding the safe handling and transport of high-value merchandise. The position involves driving armored vehicles, ensuring secure delivery, and maintaining stringent safety practices at all times. This role requires precise documentation of shipments, effective communication with clients, and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automatic armored company vehicles, ensuring safety and security during transit.
- Manage the safe loading and unloading of vehicle cargo, following established protocols.
- Accurately document all deliveries, ensuring compliance with procedural guidelines.
- Transport and deliver goods to client locations, unloading and handling packages up to 50 pounds by hand.
- Maintain a vigilant presence during unloading, standing guard and observing surroundings.
- Handle vault operations, including asset counting, receipt verification, and record-keeping.
- Communicate with clients on-site and provide delivery status updates via two-way radio or telephone.
- Uphold Ferrari Express’s professional image and security standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Valid Nevada driver’s license, NV PILB Armed Guard Card, and NV firearms permit (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in armed guard/security roles, 3 years of professional driving experience, and armored car/messenger experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/pull items up to several hundred pounds using provided equipment.
- Medical Certification: Completion of a U.S. Department of Transportation medical examination.
- Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality record.
