Position Overview:
The Front Desk Window Clerk & Customer Service representative is the first point of contact for clients at Ferrari Express Inc. This role combines clerical duties with customer service responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations, client satisfaction, and the efficient handling of high-value shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction:
- Greet and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle inquiries, provide information about services, and resolve customer issues or escalate as needed.
- Manage client check-ins for shipments and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely service.
- Window Clerk Duties:
- Process and verify shipments at the front desk, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods following company protocols.
- Monitor and maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Processing daily UPS shipments and tracking information.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, including the logistics, security, and warehouse departments.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to provide customers with real-time updates on their shipments.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, transactions, and shipments.
- Prepare daily reports and assist in compiling monthly customer service metrics.
- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of customer appointments.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at every step.
- Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently, following company guidelines.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience and share insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a high-value goods or logistics environment.
- Experience handling cash transactions and operating front desk systems is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software.
