Role Summary
As a School Bus Driver, you are responsible for the safe and orderly transport of students to and from school and extra-curricular events. Working under the direction of the Transportation Director, you will operate district vehicles in accordance with state laws and district policies. You will serve as a professional ambassador for FFSD, maintaining a positive environment on your bus and ensuring that safety is always the top priority.

- Certified Operator: You must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a Missouri School Bus Driver’s Permit .
- Educational Foundation: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Physical Readiness: You are in satisfactory physical condition with excellent vision (depth perception, focus, and distance) and the auditory ability to manage a busy bus environment.

- Communication Link: Assist administrators, teachers, and parents in building a supportive community, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions promptly.
- Professional Excellence: Complete all required mileage and safety forms accurately and attend departmental meetings to stay current on safety protocols.
