Receptionist / Office Administrator

The Fenton Center of Hope is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Office Administrator for our busy non-profit organization.
This position is often the first point of contact for the individuals and families we serve, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, has a calm and patient demeanor, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking with grace and professionalism.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Greeting guests and visitors warmly
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Assisting staff and volunteers with daily office needs
- Managing office organization and administrative tasks
- Data entry and basic record keeping
- Responding to emails and inquiries
- Helping maintain a welcoming and professional office environment
- Supporting various day-to-day operations of the organization
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a busy office environment
- Basic computer and office software knowledge
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to interact compassionately with people from many different backgrounds
- Previous office or receptionist experience preferred, but not required
