Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

Fellowship Recovery LLC is an outpatient treatment program based in Uptown Minneapolis. Dedicated to serving individuals and families, we specialize in supporting women with children, men with children, as well as individual men and women. Our program features small group sizes limited to 12 clients, fostering an intimate and focused healing environment. This is a part-time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist position located on-site in Circle Pines, MN. The Specialist will support individuals in their recovery journeys by providing mentorship, encouragement, and a compassionate perspective. Daily tasks include leading peer support sessions, sharing lived experiences to inspire hope, assisting with resource identification, and collaborating with counselors and other team members to create a supportive recovery environment. The role requires a focus on fostering trust and empowering clients while working within the framework of Fellowship Recovery’s programs and values.

• Experience in peer recovery support, mentorship, and personal experience of sustained recovery.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Knowledge of available resources, recovery planning, and problem-solving strategies.
• Understanding of addiction and recovery principles, as well as trauma-informed care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Credentialed as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist or willingness to obtain certification.
• Prior experience in a recovery-focused or counseling setting is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with flexibility to support clients’ needs.
