Role Summary
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will oversee the end-to-end AP process to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoice processing and payments across Fellowes US, Canada, and Australia. This role manages system-related issues, implements process improvements, and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and global suppliers. The position also supports system testing, policy enforcement, and audit compliance.
In This Role, You Will
- Supervise and mentor the AP team, ensuring adherence to procedures such as travel and expense reporting, and fostering continuous improvement
- Oversee timely and accurate processing of all corporate payments for multiple entities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle ERP, NetSuite, and related system issues; collaborate with IT on testing and implementation of new features.
- Ensure accurate global supplier setup, maintain banking details, enforce anti-fraud controls, and manage supplier inactivation.
- Ensure error-free month-end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and provide documentation for external audits
- Oversee Board of Directors fees and dividends; collaborate with Tax Manager on 1099 and 1099B processing; manage unclaimed property procedures; maintain corporate travel and purchasing cards; conduct annual audits; handle monthly intercompany billings and reconciliations
- At least 5 years experience in an AP Supervisor or AP Lead role
- Ideal if candidate has Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business. Also, open to candidates non-degreed with applicable experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of AP processes and ERP functionality.
- Familiarity with payment methods, banking systems, and T&E expense reporting.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including interaction with senior management.
