We’re seeking an experienced AP Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our accounts payable team. This role ensures invoices, payments, and expense reports are processed accurately and on time while supporting the team’s development and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and support AP staff in processing invoices, expense reports, and payments
- Enter, review and approve transactions for accuracy, policy compliance, and proper coding
- Resolve vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies in a timely manner
- Monitor AP aging, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close
- Assist in implementing new systems, tools, and process enhancements
- Prepare and review AP reports for management and auditors
- Work closely with management on payment schedules and processing of payments
- Ensuring payments are recorded timely and accurately
- Entering and initiating bank transactions
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of AP or accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory role
- Knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and internal controls
- Strong ERP system (NetSuite preferred) and Excel skills (advance skills required)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and deadlines
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: Chicago - up to $75K; Phoenix - up to $70K
