Job Overview
Feller Behavioral Health (FBH) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Operations Assistant to support the financial and operational needs of our growing behavioral health practice. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and billing processes, and assisting with administrative coordination across our clinical locations.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in QuickBooks, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work closely with leadership, billing teams, and our CPA to ensure accurate and compliant financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Record all financial transactions including payments, expenses, and reimbursements
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements
- Support preparation of financial documentation for CPA and tax filings
- Track expenses and assist with budget monitoring
Billing & Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing for providers and staff
- Track provider payments and session-based compensation
- Support accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and invoicing
- Coordinate with billing team regarding insurance and client payment reconciliation
Administrative Operations
- Assist with general administrative coordination for the practice
- Maintain organized financial and operational documentation
- Support leadership with reporting and operational tracking
- Communicate with vendors, CPA, and internal staff as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years QuickBooks experience required
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and task-prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial software
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare or behavioral health practice administration
- Familiarity with payroll systems and provider compensation models
Compensation
- Starting at $28 per hour, based on experience
