Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently Toast
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and proper seating arrangements
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with clear, courteous communication
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and positively
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with Toast Tables is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating memorable experiences
