Food Runner/ Busser

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning duties to maintain a spotless and welcoming environment throughout the restaurant or catering area
• Support bussing activities by clearing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of service
• Help serve food and beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm, adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Contribute to food preparation and kitchen support tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing any special requests or concerns
• Support catering events by setting up tables, serving guests, and ensuring timely delivery of food items
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and uphold hospitality standards
• Take out trash and clean all spills and messes

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols, bussing procedures, and food handling safety standards
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, serving techniques, and hotel or catering environments is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects, run large loads of heavy trash, lift kegs, refill server and bar ice, consistently move quickly and with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service and creating positive guest experiences
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the food industry as needed

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
