Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, stage, load, and unload woodworking machinery weighing up to 15,000 lbs
- Crate and prepare machinery for domestic and international shipments
- Process daily UPS parcel shipments using UPS WorldShip
- Receive incoming inventory and verify shipment accuracy
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory locations
- Assist with loading and unloading LTL, dedicated truckload, and ocean container shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
- Schedule customer deliveries and freight shipment appointments
- Coordinate with freight carriers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
- Verify bills of lading, shipping paperwork, and other documentation for accuracy
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock replenishment
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Support warehouse operations by assisting teammates wherever needed to keep customer orders moving efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift around large, high-value equipment
- Ability to safely handle machinery weighing up to 15,000 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn shipping and warehouse software
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
