Our Business Systems Support (BSS) team partners closely with business and IT to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. We don’t just support systems—we act as consultants, problem-solvers, and innovators who help shape how the business operates and grows.
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Schedule: Hybrid 2 days in the office, with up to 3 days telework - Monday-Friday
Compensation: The typical starting salary is between $73,000 and $85,882/year based on qualifications and experience as it relates to requirements listed for this role. This position is eligible for an annual employee bonus plan based on company metric performance as well as a full suite of benefits, listed below.

What You’ll DoDrive Requirements & Solutions
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business and IT stakeholders
- Translate needs into clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Identify system dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Create workflows, process diagrams, and supporting documentation
- Define MVPs and manage backlog items, epics, and priorities
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
- Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog
- Provide ongoing clarification to development teams during sprints
- Support test planning, UAT, and defect triaging
- Validate functionality across front-end and back-end systems
- Ensure traceability between requirements and testing outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting needs
- Deliver insights through queries, reports, and data validation
- Maintain data integrity through controls and analysis
- Maintain clear, up-to-date system documentation
- Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support and coach junior analysts
- Act as a trusted resource across teams
- Foster collaboration with QA, developers, and business stakeholders
- 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related analytical role
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business/system requirements
- Experience writing complex queries and working with data/reporting tools
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings and drive consensus
- Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools (SSRS, Oracle, TOAD, Access, etc.)
- Experience in insurance or benefits administration
- Background in KPI/metrics reporting and business intelligence
- You think critically and solve problems with both logic and creativity
- You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- You balance technical understanding with strong business insight
- You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring others
- You’re adaptable and comfortable navigating shifting priorities
