Lead Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst Sr BA will act as a key subject matter expert in Property Casualty PC Insurance Premium Billing with strong hands-on experience in Majesco Billing This role is responsible for analyzing business needs defining functional requirements and supporting the design configuration and enhancement of premium billing solutions The Sr BA will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure billing processes are efficient compliant and aligned with business objectives

Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Engage with business stakeholders across Billing Operations Finance Product Underwriting and IT to gather analyze and validate requirements related to Premium Billing

• Facilitate requirement workshops walkthroughs and design sessions

• Translate business needs into functional requirements user stories and acceptance criteria

• Act as a trusted advisor on premium billing processes and system capabilities
  

Premium Billing Majesco Expertise:

• Serve as an SME for PC Premium Billing lifecycle including

• Billing plans and invoicing

• Installment schedules and proration

• Down payments and premium calculations

• Midterm changes endorsements and audits

• Cancellations reinstatements and refunds

• Work closely with technical teams to configure and enhance Majesco Billing modules

• Perform impact analysis for billing changes and ensure alignment with downstream systems such as GL and reporting
  

Testing Delivery Support:

• Support System Integration Testing SIT and User Acceptance Testing UAT by defining test scenarios validating results and managing defect resolution

• Assist with go live readiness and postproduction support for billing releases
  

Documentation Compliance:

• Create and maintain documentation including BRDs FRDs process flows and data mappings

• Ensure premium billing processes comply with state regulations audit requirements and internal controls

• Support regulatory audit and management reporting needs
  

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• 8-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain

• Strong experience in PC Insurance Billing with a focus on Premium Billing

• Proven handson experience with Majesco Billing
  

Skills Competencies:

• Deep understanding of PC billing concepts and premium calculations

• Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills

• Experience working in Agile andor Waterfall delivery models

• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross functional teams

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $55.48/hour - $86.68/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
