General Manager

$60k - $75k Annually Based on Experience.

Mackshall Enterprises Inc. is a FedEx Contractor serving the San Luis Valley.

As a FedEx contractor, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and seamless delivery of packages and maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Integrity, and Service. Experience managing / driving for FedEx is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of leads & drivers.

- Oversee the daily operations, including planning and organizing delivery routes, coordinating pickups and drop-offs, & Fleet Management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity, while maintaining excellent service quality.

- Resolve any operational issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as customer service, maintenance, and human resources, to streamline operations and achieve operational goals.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of driving staff.

- Maintain accurate records and reports related to operations, including inventory management, delivery performance, and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

- Management experience is a must in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred) OR equivalent relevant work experience.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in using technology and software applications related to logistics and operations management.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the transportation industry.

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
