Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver packages along assigned routes.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring package security upon delivery.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records throughout your shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day and perform manual lifting safely.
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures is advantageous.
