What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Field Safety Representative for a 3-month project for a manufacturing client near Decatur, AL. This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, day shift schedule (with the potential for overtime) for the duration of the project. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs at a single facility. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.
Evaluating Practices & Procedures:
- Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
- Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
Education /Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred.
- 5 Years of manufacturing experience within a safety role is required.
- BCSP Certifications are strongly preferred.
Salary : $58,226 - $78,323
