What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analysis Specialist - Supplier Tooling position at FCA?
What You’ll Do
This position is responsible for new model capital projects writing, maintaining project vehicle launch dates, managing the tooling refurbishment expense budget, vendor tooling audit closure, and month-end close related activities.
This Individual Will:
Write and manage all capital New Model, Carryover, and Capacity vehicle supplier tooling projects for North America
This position will be the central contact point for writing projects, transferring funds between projects, and closing out projects
Confirm and provide vehicle launch dates to be used for capitalization and amortization schedules
Support the external tooling auditor and partner with cross-functional teams to close audits
Manage and forecast the tooling refurbishment expense budget for Purchasing Finance
Complete month-end related activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, actuals variance explanations, etc.
Responsible for complying with SOX, internal controls, and external auditor requests

What This Role Will Prepare You For
Understanding the numerous financial roles: starting with program approval of start up production launch date, and ending with program project close
Developing an understanding of the various operating groups, Engineering, Manufacturing and how they link to the Supplier Tooling group
Managing the monthly close, forecasting, and financial reporting process
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
Minimum 5 years of Accounting or Finance experience
Month-end closing and forecasting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good working knowledge of accounting principles, methods and techniques
SOX compliance experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines
Highly motivated self-starter and change agent
Excellent analytic, communication and teamwork skills
High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Working knowledge of SAP
Capital Project writing experience
Knowledge of how all phases of Procurement, Finance, and Accounting interrelate i.e., Platform Finance, Technical Accounting, Finance relate functionally to Supplier Tooling
