What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Handler - Paint Line position at FAWN MANUFACTURING INC?
The Stock Handler – Paint Line (Monday Through Friday 5:30AM-2:00PM)
Appropriately hang, stack and remove parts to maintain organization in the paint line. Also required to perform other tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hang and/or remove parts on and off conveyor line
- Stack materials in proper boxes or on skids
- Direct forklift operators where material or parts are to be distributed or stored
- Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor
- Perform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
- Desire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
- Follow all company rules and policies
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Adequate communication skills; verbal and written
- Ability to read and understand written instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physically able to do repetitive bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Physically able to stand for up to 8 hours
- Requires good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work around solvents and paints
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience/combined education
