Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- 8 years of experience working in cybersecurity, risk, or tech environments, with a strong focus on data engineering, analytics, or data architecture.
- Proven expertise designing and building batch and streaming data pipelines and models.
- Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or Alteryx.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts—including vulnerabilities, threats, controls, and privacy.
- Strong Python and SQL coding skills, capable of assessing multiple data sources, identifying gaps, and devising effective data engineering strategies.
- Experience partnering with data engineering, platform, and architecture teams to ensure scalable, supportable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or CISM.
- Experience applying advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling and trend analysis.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools like Claude or AI code assistants.
- Leadership experience as a technical lead or architect.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of enterprise data ecosystems, including data lakes and warehouses.
