Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• 8 years of experience working in cybersecurity, risk, or tech environments, with a strong focus on data engineering, analytics, or data architecture.
• Proven expertise designing and building batch and streaming data pipelines and models.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or Alteryx.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts—including vulnerabilities, threats, controls, and privacy.
• Strong Python and SQL coding skills, capable of assessing multiple data sources, identifying gaps, and devising effective data engineering strategies.
• Experience partnering with data engineering, platform, and architecture teams to ensure scalable, supportable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or CISM.
• Experience applying advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling and trend analysis.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools like Claude or AI code assistants.
• Leadership experience as a technical lead or architect.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of enterprise data ecosystems, including data lakes and warehouses.

• Pay Rate: $75 - $84 per hour (W2, no sponsorship required)
