About the Role
- As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across a portfolio of Faropoint’s corporate entities. You will own the full month-end close cycle – including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions – while ensuring balance sheet accounts and the P&L are properly reconciled and classified. In addition to day-to-day operations, you will serve as the primary accounting point of contact for other departments, support annual audits and 1099 preparations, and contribute to ad hoc projects across the corporate accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Complete month-end close functions, including but not limited to:
- Upload and process invoices in our Payable Systems PayEm/ Yardi P2P.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Post monthly accrued and prepaid expenses.
- Post and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Perform AP/AR Tie outs
- Review the P&L for any GL reclasses, accruals, and prepaids.
- Review the P&L for entries with missing department, class, or location.
- Post quarterly intercompany entries and issue fund invoices.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned entities and serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounting inquiries from other departments.
- Assist with annual audits and 1099 preparations.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
About You
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience; corporate entity bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with NetSuite or Yardi software is required.
- Detail oriented and analytical, with strong organizational skills, a proven ability to meet deadlines, and the capacity to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering quick, accurate turnaround.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
