SUMMARY
Beechview Elementary is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant
to support the daily operations of the school while providing exceptional service to students,
families, staff, and the community.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills,
embraces the Farmington Public Schools Staff Portrait as an Empowered Collaborator, Strategic

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a high school graduate. Associates degree preferred
- High level computer skills using Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of MiStar, Blackboard, BusinessPlus and absence management systems
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff,

- Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving skills and
demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Maintain MiStar for data accuracy
- Complete and maintain an organized student enrollment registration process for incoming
- Maintain purchase orders, budget processes, and check requests
- Manage the day-to-day school activities efficiently
- Maintain and monitor guest teacher and staff absences in the attendance reporting system.
- Positively and professionally interact with staff, students, parents and community
- Maintains the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR)
- Other duties as assigned
