The Nursing department at Farmingdale State College seeks an Instructional Support Specialist. Responsibilities include the following:
- Schedule Nursing labs and classrooms.
- Maintain lab staff schedule.
- Manage Inventory, service contracts and warrantees for equipment and supplies.
- Maintain simulation and lab equipment.
- Assist and supervise students during lab practice.
- Provide support to faculty during classes and simulation.
- Promote and maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills a must.
- Team player; able to collaborate well with others.
This position will be scheduled for 4 days per week, 10 hours per day.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS RN License.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working in nursing skills lab.
- Experience operating simulation equipment.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time UUP position.
- For the first 10 working days, beginning Friday, May 12, 2023 and ending Thursday, May 25, 2023, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.
