Farmers Insurance Agency
We are hiring 2–3 Sales Producers to join our growing agency.
This is a performance-based sales role for someone who wants strong earning potential and increasing autonomy. If you are looking for a passive, clock-in position, this will not be a fit. If you want your effort to directly impact your income and flexibility, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Calling and following up with inbound leads
- Generating new opportunities
- Quoting auto, home and life.
- Presenting coverage clearly and confidently
- Handling objections and asking for the sale
- Managing and working a consistent pipeline
- Meeting people from all walks of life and helping them never have to worry about insurance again.
You will spend a significant portion of your day on the phone. This is a sales role — activity and follow-up matter.
Training & Licensing
No prior insurance experience is required.
You must either already hold or be willing to obtain your Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. We guide you through licensing and provide structured sales training.
We can teach product knowledge and process.
We cannot teach drive or accountability.
While we are not exclusively looking for applicants with insurance backgrounds, we are looking for candidates with sales experience or experience in related fields.
Compensation
We offer one of the most competitive and aggressive compensation structures in the area.
There is a base salary component to provide stability. However, this role is designed for producers who intend to outperform that base. Someone content to sit at the base level will not find long-term success here.
You will earn a base and a % commission on everything you sell. That % increases once you hit certain thresholds. This is fully transparent and we don't move the goal posts further and further.
Strong performance is rewarded aggressively.
There is no artificial cap on earnings.
Schedule & Flexibility
We do not micromanage adults.
Producers who consistently perform earn greater flexibility in their schedule. Autonomy follows results.
Licensed and experienced producers may qualify for remote immediately. Others can earn remote flexibility through demonstrated production.

We aren't sure who traumatized you by requiring you to pay for or supply your own leads but we don't roll like that over here. You will have as many leads as you can work.
Is the base guaranteed?
Yes. The base provides stability while you build production. However being content pocketing that base and not striving to make more will not result in a good fit for either party.
