Under the mentorship of accomplished agency owner Darian Taliaferro, you’ll master the art of prospecting, closing, and relationship selling. From the very start, you will drive new business, expand your client base, and maximize your commission potential—all while developing the skills needed for long-term leadership and business ownership.
What You'll Do
Proactively develop and manage your own sales pipeline through networking, prospecting, and outreach
Consult with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored insurance solutions
Build strong, trust-based relationships and deliver ongoing client support
Meet or exceed aggressive sales goals, focusing on both new business and retention
Track sales activities and manage leads using agency tools and technology
Stay up-to-date on market trends and new Farmers Insurance products
Qualifications
Exceptional verbal communication and persuasion skills
Proven drive to succeed in a sales environment
Strong independence, organization, and time management
Sales or customer service experience is valuable, but not required
Willingness to obtain (or current possession of) state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)
