Capital Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Operational Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role supports daily accounting operations with a focus on invoice coding, fuel program administration, and financial tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and deadline driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Route and code invoices across multiple entities
- Manage fuel card program including setup, reporting, payments, and issue resolution
- Partner with operations teams to track costs and inventory
- Support month end, quarter end, and year end close processes
- Assist with design and documentation of accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
