Beverage Systems Field Service SpecialistAbout the role

Join Farmer Brothers’ Revive™ Service & Restoration team, where experts keep coffee and tea programs running flawlessly. As a field specialist, you’ll install, service, and remove commercial coffee brewing and beverage dispensing equipment for a defined customer base. You’ll manage your parts inventory, complete each service call with accurate documentation, and close out work orders on time.

A day in the life

  • Start your day reviewing scheduled and unscheduled service calls, loading your vehicle with the right spare parts and tools.
  • Drive within your assigned territory (typically a 100-mile radius) to install, repair, or remove brewing and dispensing equipment.
  • Handle preventative maintenance, site surveys, new installs, and emergency service with professionalism and urgency.
  • Participate in the after-hours/weekend on-call rotation to support customers when they need it most.
  • Maintain inventory levels and reorder parts within replenishment guidelines so you’re always ready for the next call.
  • Complete the call closure process thoroughly, including accurate notes, invoice details, and obtaining all required customer signatures.
  • Coordinate and assist with planning, scheduling, and executing equipment installations.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal teams, sharing feedback and requests to help improve programs.
  • Follow service-level agreements and prioritize tasks to meet expectations and timelines.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with an on-call rotation that includes weekends.

Travel

Regular driving within a 100-mile radius in most markets; occasional regional travel may be required.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3 years of mechanical/technical experience required
  • Foodservice experience preferred
  • Preferred exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test meters
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable traveling within a 100 mile radius of the branch location
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently
  • Skilled at balancing scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergency calls, PMs, surveys, and installations
