We are looking for a motivated, adaptable Junior Digital Marketing Specialist to support our digital strategy and marketing team. This role reports to the Director of Digital Strategy and is ideal for someone with a foundational background in marketing who is eager to learn, take ownership of assigned work, and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of digital marketing activities.
This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a more permanent position based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit.
We are willing to train the right person on most tools and processes. What matters most is having some marketing experience, strong attention to detail, comfort with technology, and a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities as needs evolve.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with digital content creation, editing, formatting, and optimization
- Migrate website content during website builds, redesigns, and launches
- Publish and format blog and website content within content management systems
- Update website content, metadata, schema, and other on-page elements
- Provide support for website-related marketing updates and requests
- Assist with SEMrush-related tasks and digital marketing support
- Help gather, organize, and prepare marketing and website performance reports
- Track assigned work, deadlines, and project progress within our project management system
- Follow established processes and quality-control procedures
- Perform accuracy and quality checks on completed work
- Support the Director of Digital Strategy and broader team with a wide variety of digital marketing, website, content, reporting, and project-related tasks
- Learn and work within new platforms, systems, and processes as needed
What We're Looking For
- Some previous or current education, work experience, internship experience, freelance experience, or hands-on exposure to marketing, digital marketing, communications, content, or a related area
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to accurately track tasks, deadlines, and project progress
- Comfortable learning and working within multiple digital platforms
- Ability to follow established processes while also working independently
- Willingness to take on a wide variety of assignments rather than working within one narrow area of marketing
- Dependable, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and learning quickly
Helpful, But Not Required
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- WordPress or other content management systems
- SEMrush
- SEO
- Google Analytics / GA4
- Website content publishing
- Metadata or schema
- Project management platforms
- Marketing performance reporting
Most platform-specific skills can be taught. We are primarily looking for someone with a solid marketing foundation, strong attention to detail, and the ability and willingness to learn.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
