JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Help customers with special order requests; locate merchandise; and educate them in product knowledge.
- Present a positive and friendly attitude at all times and greet all customers within ten feet.
- Verify proper product rotation and basic stockage of merchandise in multiple departments.
- Learn and retain information based on Farm & Home Supply’s web-based employee site, The Outfitter.
- Remove damaged merchandise as needed as well as review and correct outage overstocks to supply proper inventory levels.
- Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and set store ads and signage.
- Identify and display new items at designated locations with Management approval.
- Demonstrate strong merchandising presentation skills for in-aisles, end caps, and displays.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures using regular safety checks.
- Attend job-related meetings as well as review the F&H Weekly Update that is distributed to each store on a weekly basis.
- Professionally communicate with Customers, Management, and all store employees.
- Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Assist with price changes, markdowns, and labeling of merchandise.
- Operate cash registers and assist customers with carry out purchases.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Lift up to and including 80 lbs.
- Maintain and control an organized stockroom area.
- Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.

- Minimum Age is 18 years old.
- Six months of previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
