What You'll Do

What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough investigations.
- Analyze evidence: Review documents, witness statements, medical records, and other relevant information to assess the veracity of claims.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Document findings.
- Develop and assist with training of claims and other personnel.
- Efficiently handle a selection of field and desk investigations within Special Investigators Authority, prioritize activities, allocate resources.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices:
- College degree or 8 years prior experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement (investigations), or related field.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record required.
- Frequent travel required with overnight stays possible.
- Must be able to work under varying weather conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency in conducting interviews and gathering evidence.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to insurance fraud investigation.
- Certification in fraud examination (e.g., Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator) is a plus or must be obtained after hiring.
