What You'll Do
As a Premium Auditor you will interview client/members to review financial records & other documentation to accurately classify and apply payroll and/or sales exposures for commercial package and workers' compensation policies in compliance with bureau regulations and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conduct premium audits on commercial and Ag policies.
- Schedule and conduct telephone interviews with client/members to review operations, determine proper classification, and develop accurate exposures.
- Analyze various financial records to develop exposure and accurately calculate policy premium.
- Make policy classification recommendations based on ISO and rating bureau rules.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with varying levels of complexity based on audit interview and supporting documentation submitted by the client/member.
- Perform audit related processing functions for both workers' compensation and general liability policies.
- College degree preferred experience in a premium audit function; accounting or commercial insurance a plus.
- Solid math skills with knowledge of accounting practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
