What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch-Jailer (Male) position at Faribault County?
Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising inmates and maintaining the safety and security of the facility. This position requires the ability to understand, interpret, and apply policies and procedures, as well as maintain compliance with data privacy laws and inmate legal rights.
The employee must be able to efficiently operate radio systems, computers, and telephones, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Annual training is required.
Annual contracted hours are 2,184. The work schedule will vary and is subject to change, but annual hours will not exceed the contracted hours.
Minimum qualifications:
- age 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- a valid driver’s license
