What are the responsibilities and job description for the CENTRAL SERVICES/HR ASSISTANT position at Faribault County?
What You’ll Do
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain job postings, schedule interviews, and assist applicants.
- Play a vital role in County Board meetings — scheduling agendas, creating packets and taking minutes.
- Process monthly benefits invoices and maintain personnel records.
- Provide day-to-day office support like phone/email correspondence, filing, accounts payable, and website updates.
- Be a helpful resource for employees with HR, payroll, and benefits questions.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED plus one year of related experience (or equivalent).
- Strong computer skills — comfortable with spreadsheets, word processing, and office systems.
- Organized, accurate, and detail-driven with great communication skills.
- Someone who thrives on supporting both employees and leadership.

This is a Grade 3, Hourly/Non-Exempt position with a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits package.
This is a full-time, non-union position at 37.5 hours per week. Wage range $26.20 – $35.71 per hour.
