Job Summary

Talk Therapy Center is a locally owned, therapist-led group practice expanding our Murrieta location (across from City Hall). We are seeking California-licensed therapists who want flexibility, support, and long-term career sustainability—without feeling like a productivity number.

Open Positions

1. W-2 Per Diem (Fee-for-Service)

Pay: $60–$70 per session

• Minimum 8 sessions/week

• Flexible schedule

• No benefits

Budgeted Hours:

• 8 client sessions/week

• Approx. 10–25 total hours/week (including documentation)

2. W-2 Salaried Therapist

Salary: $78,000–$84,000 annually

• Maintain 25 sessions/week

• Full benefits package:

  • Profit-sharing 401(k)

• Productivity bonus: $70–$80 per session above 25/week

Budgeted Hours:

• 25–30 client sessions/week

• Approx. 30-40 total hours/week

3. 1099 Independent Contractor (S-Corp Required)

Compensation: 70/30 revenue split (clinician retains 70%)

• Must qualify under California business-to-business exemption

• S-Corporation required

• We provide billing, admin support, EHR, intake, and scheduling

• Full autonomy within a compliant group practice

Schedule

• Flexible daytime and evening availability

• Limited weekend availability welcomed

• Consistent weekly schedule required

• No on-call or overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to a diverse, insurance-based caseload

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Support medical necessity and treatment planning

• Comply with HIPAA, ethical standards, and payer requirements

• Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams as needed

Requirements

• Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD)

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field

• Strong documentation and diagnostic skills

• Knowledge of DSM-5, ICD-10, and HIPAA

• Ability to maintain a consistent caseload
