Private Maker Workshop and Warehouse Lead

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Maker Space Lead to oversee daily operations of a private warehouse while also supporting a wide range of technical projects. This role goes beyond traditional warehouse management, blending logistics oversight with facilities, improvements, and emerging technologies.

This is an Individual Contributor position.

The ideal candidate has experience with 3DPrinters, general electrical is detail-oriented, highly adaptable, and able to communicate clearly while balancing both operational and project-based responsibilities. Extra credit for Star Wars and Pinball fans.

Core Responsibilities

• Main responsibility is to maintain a clean, organized and tidy warehouse
• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, organization, storage, and distribution of equipment and materials.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other warehouse machinery (certification provided if not current).
• Coordinate warehouse-related construction, facilities improvements, and contractor activities.
• Maintain 3D printers and manage requested print jobs etc.
• Maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Provide timely and professional communication and reporting over SLACK to project stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, manifests and organization of all warehouse artifacts
• Maintain exotic auto collection and have ready for drive at anytime
• Maintain temp controlled collectibles on location

Required Skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self started, able to work autonomously.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or operations leadership.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Hands-on experience with woodworking, metalworking, or welding.
• Familiarity with commercial construction practices.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs - you will be required to lift, move and organize warehouse

Desired Skills

• Background in electrical systems or audio-visual installations.
• Experience with exotic autos, maintenance and storage / cleaning
• Familiarity with storage containers, moving, managing and maintaining
• Familiarity with 3D printers, maintenance and storage.
