Director of Plant Operations

We are seeking a Director of Plant Operations to work in tandem with the Operations Administrator and COO to oversee, manage, and follow through on an organization's daily operational support needs so that the facility's management team can focus on growth, revenue, and patient care. The DPO is responsible for managing its resources, developing and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that procedures are carried out and communicated properly and timely. The DPO will regularly evaluate organizational efficiency and suggest changes to the OA that the DOP believes will maximize facility efficiency. The DPO shall assess the needs of the company and finds ways to contribute to the big picture by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible at each facility, and promote and encourage the same to all staff members at every level.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, direct and authorize maintenance projects, ensuring reputable contractors used, costs managed, appropriate risk management procedures followed, and completed.
- Monitor vendor contracts for cost analysis, contract renewal, and recommendation for other service providers.
- Attend each leadership meeting either by phone or in person to ensure proper support is offered for each facility.
- Create and maintain all State Inspection binders and provide proper training and operational support. If feasible, attend each state Inspection for Texas and assist with Nebraska inspections.
- Schedule and monitor all annual fire inspection for each facility for compliance.
- Collaborate with Operations Administrator and COO on processes and procedures.
- Introduce product and cost saving metrics to identify trends and drive change.
- Collaborate with purchasing manager to maximize cost saving across all facilities.
- Provide site assistance to Regional Directors and collaborate for needs of each facility.
- Oversee cybersecurity training and response procedures.
- Perform other duties as needed and as assigned by DPO and COO.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent, some college is preferred
- Licenses/Certification: None
- Experience: 5-year related industry experience
