Role Description
SLP Operations is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facility located in Llano, TX. This on-site role includes managing day-to-day nursing operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, implementing effective infection control measures, and developing care plans tailored to long-term resident needs. Additionally, the Director of Nursing will lead and supervise nursing staff, facilitate training programs, and promote the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Nursing Management, including staff leadership, scheduling, and performance management
- Proficiency in Infection Control practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Strong knowledge of Medicine and Nursing principles relevant to skilled nursing facilities
- Experience with Long-term Care, including assessment and coordination of patient care plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to foster collaboration and efficiency
- Active RN license in good standing in the state of Texas
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nursing preferred
- Prior leadership experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is highly desirable
