Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urgent and primary care services to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and injuries.
- Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
