Families First of Minnesota is hiring a Wayfinder Navigator based in our Rochester office. In this role, you’ll work across regional counties to recruit, support, and guide the start-up, development, and sustainability of licensed childcare programs, including both family childcare and childcare centers.
We’re seeking motivated, self-starting individuals who want to strengthen the early childhood field and support the dedicated professionals who care for our children.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience:
CDA, A.A. Degree or Bachelor’s in Early Chilhood Education or closely related field and 2 years prior work in licensed Family Child Care or a Child Care Center. Minimum of 25 hours of Develop approved training in early childhood education, with 8,320 hours of experience reflected on your Employment tab and KCF Learning Record, and knowledge of MN Rule 2 and /or Rule 3 licensing. Maintain current knowledge of early childhood profession and advancements in professional development initiatives.

This exempt position is scheduled for 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday- 8-4:30pm, travel is required along with occasional nights and weekend to meet the needs of the programming needs. Compensation is based upon education level, starting at $23-24/hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life, Long-Term Disability and 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal holidays.
