Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner: Assist students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide general support in a nonjudgemental, non-reactive manner. Assists instructional personnel with the development and presentation of a variety of instructional materials and instructional exercises. Assists students in a group, or an individual basis, with specific instructional tasks and or specific student goals to accommodate their development and growth. Assists with data collection and assessments for student IEP goals and behavior support services. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification provided by the district. Maintain CPR and first aid certification as provided by the District. Within the probationary period, paraprofessionals will be expected to participate in District-wide training /supervision and receive a District Certificate of Competence. REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF): Letter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from the most recent employer) NCLB Compliance - Proof of degree/transcripts (if applicable) Resume

It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
