Pay Range: The Salary for this position starts at $27.00 and goes up from there based on experience.

In this vital role, you’ll support providers, deliver exceptional patient care, and help coordinate services that make a meaningful impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures.

• Obtain vital signs, review medical histories, and accurately document patient encounters.

• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as directed by providers.

• Support the Vaccines for Children and other immunization programs.

• Provide patient education, assist with referrals, and ensure accurate chart preparation.

• Manage patient triage calls and facilitate efficient clinic flow.

• Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.

• Apply sound clinical judgment to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

• Participate in emergency preparedness and respond professionally in urgent situations.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license (South Dakota or Compact).

• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment.

• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and patient care equipment (training available).

• Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and confidentiality.

Education, Experience & Certification

• Education commensurate with licensure requirements.

• Prior clinic experience preferred.

• EPIC experience preferred.

• Must possess or obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
