Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) role located in Hot Springs, SD. The CMA will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in clinical and administrative tasks. Daily responsibilities include managing patient care, supporting medical procedures, maintaining medical records, handling medical terminology, and ensuring smooth operations of the medical office. The CMA will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and hands-on Patient Care
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and medical office procedures
- Experience in maintaining and managing Medical Records
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical environment is a plus
Education/Experience/Licensure
- Registry with the SD Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. Certification by a national organization does not mean that the Certified Medical Assistant can perform duties outside their scope of practice as noted in the above.
