About the Role
FalconTek is hiring a Management Analyst to support ship maintenance and modernization planning at a major Navy regional maintenance command at Naval Station Norfolk — the largest naval base in the world. This is a designated key personnel seat on a long-term Navy program: you'll be the analyst leadership relies on to keep executive planning reports, availability schedules, milestones, and financial forecasts accurate and moving.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and update Executive Planning Status Reports, schedules, milestones, and financial reports for surface ship availability projects
- Pull data from Navy maintenance systems and build historical and predictive analyses that drive resource allocation and trend decisions
- Develop budget estimates and forecasts with detailed justifications
- Draft and revise risk letters and naval messages in proper DON correspondence format
- Review work specifications, maintain planning and execution reports, and validate integrated schedules
- Conduct organizational and position management studies and recommend improvements to structure, staffing, and workload distribution
- Present findings and recommendations on the spot to large groups, including senior leadership
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (required — no substitutions)
- Five (5) years of in-depth knowledge of surface ship modernization, maintenance, and repair policies and methods
- Strong Microsoft Office skills — Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD SECRET clearance
- Ability to work on-site during command core hours (0830–1100 / 1300–1430, with gliding bands, Monday–Friday)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
