Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Renovation Foreman/ Carpenter to join our growing team for ongoing projects throughout Central Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position with responsibilities spanning from rough and finish carpentry to overseeing subcontractors and ensuring project execution aligns with drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rough framing (wood and metal studs), finish carpentry, siding installation, selective demolition and other various duties as assigned.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate work.
- Ensure all installations meet or exceed quality and safety standards.
- Lead by example on job sites, assisting with material planning, sequencing, and site management.
- Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, levels, pneumatic and actuated tools.
- Occasionally assist on commercial construction sites as needed.
- Always maintain clean and organized work areas.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with:
- Rough and Finish Carpentry
- Wood, Composite, and Hardie Siding Installation
- Miscellaneous Framing (metal and wood)
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must provide own tools suitable for carpentry work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work occasional 2nd or 3rd shift when project demands arise
