Delivery Driver/Order Puller

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role combines the excitement of delivering goods to restaurant owners while also taking on the responsibilities of warehouse operations such as order pulling when there are no deliveries to be made. Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery purposes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load, unload, and organize products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations.
• Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Assist with warehouse operations including order pulling, staging, and loading.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper weight handling practices and safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience; experience operating box trucks or vans preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, following safe lifting practices at all times.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles or commercial trucks is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries.
• Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and move throughout the workday comfortably.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
