Fairview Range is hiring a non-certified Surgical Technologist for Surgical Services team in Hibbing, MN.
***We’re offering an up to $30,000 sign-on bonus for a three-year commitment!
As a Surgical Technologist, you will provide perioperative care to patients under the direction of an RN. You will scrub and assist surgeons by handling instruments during procedures, maintain aseptic technique, and maintain instruments and equipment for efficient functioning.
Schedule: This position will work 72-80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the day shift. Weekdays and weekends on call.

- 17 Same Day Surgery cubicles

- Patient population: pediatric to geriatric

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct perioperative patient care with regard to the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of the patient.
- Assisting the RN in coordinating a plan of care based on prioritized patient needs related to types of surgical procedures and surgeon preferences.
- Providing age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all involved subject areas according to standards of care.
- Assisting RN, anesthesia personnel, and the surgeon in prompt identification of changes in patient condition.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a surgical technology program or surgical technologist training
- One (1) year of operating room or similar scrub experience
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) within 90 Days
