Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessments, monitoring, and advanced treatments.
- Operate life-support and advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
- Administer complex medications, ensure patient safety, and address physical and emotional needs.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about ICU procedures and recovery expectations.
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures, adhere to infection control, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience.
- Valid RN license according to state regulations.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English, PC skills, and visual acuity.
