Travel Hospice RN

Role Overview: Provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients in hospice settings, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, educate families, and ensure patients' dignity and peace.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and create care plans with healthcare teams
• Administer medications and treatments for pain and symptom relief
• Educate and support families and caregivers
• Monitor patient condition and adjust interventions accordingly
• Document care activities accurately and comply with regulations
• Coordinate with team members for holistic support
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and healthcare standards
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent RN experience, including at least six months in hospice
• Valid RN license and BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist with patient care and move equipment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and follow instructions
